1. Refractoriness: The fire resistance of clay refractory bricks is determined by their chemical composition and impurity content. From its physical and chemical indicators, it can be seen that the higher the Al2O3 content, the higher the corresponding liquidus temperature. Generally, the refractoriness of clay refractory bricks is 1580-1750°C. The high alumina brick is also higher the Al2O3 content, the higher the corresponding liquidus temperature.
2. Load softening temperature: Because clay refractory bricks appear liquidus at a lower temperature and begin to soften ratio if external force will deform, the load softening temperature of clay refractory bricks is much lower than the refractoriness, only 1350℃.
3. Slag resistance: Clay refractory bricks are neutral in favor of acid refractory bricks, so the resistance of clay refractory bricks to alkaline slag erosion is slightly worse.
4. Thermal shock resistance: The thermal expansion coefficient of clay refractory bricks is small, and the thermal shock resistance is good. The number of water cooling at 850 ℃ is generally 10-15 times
